SPORT MOMO · Kobo East Africa
Terms of use
Version dated 28 October 2026 · Draft pending legal approval
The registered office address, country of establishment and registration details still need to be completed before final approval.
1. Purpose and scope
SPORT MOMO is a Kobo sport product operated by Kobo East Africa. The platform helps athletes organise their income, expenses, budgets, savings and projects. These terms govern access to and use of the service.
2. Account and service access
You must provide accurate information and keep your login details confidential. You are responsible for actions taken through your account and must report any unauthorised access to hello@kobosport.com. If you are a minor, use must comply with the rules in your country requiring authorisation from your legal representative.
SPORT MOMO works online only. An Internet connection is required to view and save data and use artificial intelligence.
3. Financial data and responsibility for verification
You remain responsible for the accuracy of the information entered and for checking suggested transactions. SPORT MOMO is not a bank, does not hold your funds and does not convert currencies. A single currency is used for your personal financial data.
Budget limits, expected income, projections and estimates do not represent available funds or guaranteed earnings. Sample data marked as fictional represents neither your assets nor an active subscription.
4. Artificial intelligence and documents
Analyses of bills, payslips, statements and expense descriptions may contain errors. Check amounts, dates and categories before confirming. Importing or analysing a document does not mean a transaction has been recorded.
AI results and budgeting tips are for information only. They do not replace a professional and do not constitute investment, legal, tax or banking advice. Do not upload documents you are not authorised to use.
5. Privacy and security
Access to personal data is subject to account protections and service permissions. Administrative roles do not grant access by default to athletes’ balances, transactions or private supporting documents. Data needed for AI analysis is processed by the technical services used for that analysis.
Absolute security cannot be guaranteed. For any requests about your data or deleting your account, contact hello@kobosport.com.
6. Orders and payments
Administrative tracking of orders and payments is separate from athletes’ personal finances. Payments shown there are reported manually; this tracking does not activate any online payment collection service.
These terms alone do not create any fee, subscription or debit. If a paid offer is made, its price, currency, duration, payment terms, cancellation terms and refund terms must be communicated before any commitment. A cancellation in administrative tracking does not automatically trigger a refund.
7. Prohibited uses
Accessing others’ data without permission, bypassing protections, importing unlawful content, disrupting the service or impersonating someone else is prohibited. Kobo East Africa may restrict or suspend access in cases of misuse or security risk, while respecting applicable rights.
8. Service availability and limitations
Interruptions may occur due to maintenance, technical incidents or unavailability of a third-party service. Check your information and keep original supporting documents. The service does not guarantee any financial outcome. Limitations of liability apply only to the extent permitted by law and do not remove any mandatory rights.
9. Intellectual property
The trademarks, logos and content of SPORT MOMO and Kobo sport are protected by applicable rights. Using the service does not transfer any ownership rights. You retain your rights to the documents and information you provide.
10. Changes, contact and disputes
These terms may change. The applicable version and date will be shown on this page; users must be informed of significant changes. Send any questions or complaints to hello@kobosport.com to seek an amicable resolution.
The user’s applicable mandatory rights remain protected. The governing law and competent jurisdiction must be specified after confirmation of Kobo East Africa’s country of establishment and legal approval; no jurisdiction is presumed here.
